- 15g paprika
- 15g mixed spice
- 15g salt

- Combine Ingredients: Place all the ingredients into a preserving pan. Make sure to chop your onions and apples beforehand and measure out your spices.
- Dissolve Sugar: Slowly bring the mixture to a boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally to prevent the chutney from sticking to the pan.
- Check Consistency: The chutney is ready when it becomes very thick. You should be able to draw a wooden spoon across the base of the pan, leaving a channel that doesn’t fill up with liquid immediately.
