  • 1 can (4-ounce) green chiles
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • Cooking spray for greasing

How To Make Corn Casserole

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Turn your oven to 350°F. Use cooking spray to grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a big bowl, mix together corn kernels, cream-style corn, melted butter, 2 cups of Cheddar cheese, corn muffin mix, green chiles, eggs, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Make sure everything is well combined.
  3. Pour and Bake: Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Initial Baking: Place the dish in the oven and bake until the middle is set and the top turns a light golden color. This should take about 1 hour.
  5. Final Touch: Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of Cheddar cheese on top and put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese melts completely. Serve it hot.
