– 1lb lean ground beef – 1 large shallot or small yellow onion, chopped – 3 cloves garlic, pressed or minced – 8 shakes gluten free worcestershire sauce (~1/2 Tablespoon) – 1 teaspoon + extra dash homemade seasoned salt (see notes) – pepper – 1-1/2 cups chicken or beef broth – 15oz can tomato sauce – 15oz can petite diced tomatoes – 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning – 1 bay leaf – 1 cup uncooked gluten free elbow noodles

. Set a big pan or Dutch oven on medium-high heat. Put in the garlic, shallot or onion, and meat. Then use a wooden spoon to break up the beef. . Season with pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and a little homemade seasoned salt. Then cook the meat. . Add the last teaspoon of seasoned salt, the tomato products, Italian seasoning, and the bay leaf. Then raise the heat and let it bubble.

How To Make

. Reduce the heat to medium to medium-low, and then let it cook slowly for 10 minutes, stirring every now and then. . Add the elbow noodles and keep simmering, stirring often, for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the noodles are soft. Near the end, turn the heat down a little to keep the boil very gentle. After taking out the bay leaf, give it a taste and add more seasoned salt and/or pepper if you like.
